techworks, LLC Alumni Team: Don Muehlbauer, William Bryant, Shawn Longtine, James Meuhlbauer (Marquette University, JD '79) techworks is a "virtual IT department" for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs). Using sophisticated tools, certified personnel and remote access capabilities over the internet, techworks offers a full complement of IT services, supporting client networks, hardware and applications, remotely. Sophisticated tools and certified personnel enable techworks to offer proactive monitoring of client environments to suggest changes or adjustments before a problem arises. Remote capabilities enable fixes to be implemented in minutes, not hours, eliminating non-value-added factors, such as travel time, space and computing requirements at the client level. Offering these services on a subscription basis, SMB clients are able to predict and control costs, but still obtain the flexible level of service needed. Concentrating on day-to-day operational and support requirements of its clients, techworks is able to maintain a steady level of personnel utilization, and consequently, cash flow. |
